Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OSRS Tracker ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

OSRS Tracker is a companion tool for Old School RuneScape players. The Service allows you to:

  • Track in-game events (level-ups, quests, loot drops, etc.)
  • View your game progress in a social feed
  • Create and join groups with other players
  • Receive notifications about game events
  • Capture and share game moments with screenshots and video clips

3. Not Affiliated with Jagex

Important: OSRS Tracker is an independent third-party service and is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Jagex Ltd. or Old School RuneScape in any way. "Old School RuneScape" and "OSRS" are trademarks of Jagex Ltd.

4. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
  • One person may not maintain more than one account
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce
  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Share content that violates others' intellectual property rights

6. RuneLite Plugin Usage

The OSRS Tracker RuneLite plugin is provided to facilitate data collection from your game client. By using the plugin:

  • You consent to the collection and transmission of game event data to our servers
  • You acknowledge that the plugin captures screenshots and video clips of your game
  • You agree to comply with RuneLite's terms of service and plugin guidelines
  • You understand that plugin functionality may change with RuneLite or game updates

7. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload (screenshots, video clips). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload.

8. Subscriptions & Payments

Subscription Tiers

  • Free: 5 videos per day, 7-day video retention
  • Premium: Unlimited videos per day, 1-year video retention

Billing

  • Payments are processed securely by Paddle
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled
  • You can cancel anytime from Settings; access continues until the end of your billing period
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice; existing subscriptions are honored until renewal

Refunds

We offer refunds within 14 days of purchase if you're not satisfied. Contact support@osrs-tracker.com. Upon refund, your account reverts to the free tier and premium features become unavailable.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. We may:

  • Modify or discontinue features without notice
  • Perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts service
  • Limit access during periods of high demand

11. Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our retention policy

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
