Getting Started

Set up OSRS Tracker in 5 minutes and start capturing your gameplay moments automatically.

Verify your email

Check your inbox for a verification email from OSRS Tracker. Click the link to confirm your account. This ensures you can recover your account and receive important notifications.

Install the RuneLite plugin

Open RuneLite and go to the Plugin Hub (the plug icon in the sidebar). Search for "OSRS Tracker" and install it.

Create an API token

Go to Settings → API Tokens and create a new token. Give it a name like "RuneLite Plugin".

Important: Copy immediately! The token is only shown once when created. Copy it immediately and paste it into the RuneLite plugin settings. If you lose it, you'll need to create a new one.

Configure the plugin

In RuneLite, click the wrench icon next to OSRS Tracker in your plugin list to open settings. Paste your API token in the "API Token" field.

GPU plugin required for video Video recording requires RuneLite's GPU plugin to be enabled. You can find it in your plugin list. Without it, events will still be captured with a screenshot.

Test with Quick Record

Look for the camera icon in your RuneLite toolbar (top bar or side panel). Click it to trigger a Quick Record - this captures the last 10 seconds of gameplay.

After recording, refresh your Feed on the website. You should see your clip appear within a few seconds!

Need help?

If something isn't working, check these common issues:

arrow_right Make sure you're logged into OSRS (not the login screen)

arrow_right Check that your API token is correctly pasted (no extra spaces)

arrow_right Verify the plugin is enabled in your RuneLite plugin list

arrow_right Enable the GPU plugin for video recording (screenshots still work without it)

arrow_right Try restarting RuneLite if changes don't take effect
